9) Ext. Silence (Coming of Age/Drama)

​Synopsis:

'A deaf girl is relentlessly bullied as her classmates watch on. But when one student extends the hand of friendship, their worlds are forever changed.'​​​

For "Silence", I stepped away from acting, focusing on bringing my vision to life. ​

This film explores how a simple act of kindness can change someone's life. ​
​

​With the intentional absence of dialogue, the film relied on visual storytelling, supported with original watercolour artworks by Chloe O'Connor to carry the message.

Silence reinforced the importance of music as a powerful narrative tool, and by working closely with all departments, I was able to speak to my audience without words.

The original song 'Heal The Hurt' was written and performed by lead star Michelle Eddington, with Orchestration arranged by Jared Gibson.​
